Howdy, my name is Monét Guilbeau: Monét like the painter but unlike Claude, words comprise my art.
Throughout my life, writing has been a solace and a gift of mine, so much so that I am here creating this blog. With this pastime of mine spurring me on to become a journalist, I figured why not share this journey with you all? This space will serve as my portfolio of research and my public diary, so strap in allllll the characters one can type and *hopefully* some good reads!

I will be receiving a Masters of Science in Journalism and cannot wait to document that journey here! I am interested in broadcast reporting and magazine writing, catch me on the TV someday.
Six-week intensive summer course on all aspects of magazine formulation/media, books, and digital media publishing. You never know, I may want to publish stuff someday! Idk I like to be prepared.
Completed my B.A. in English while minoring in Philosophy. I was exposed to reporting by authoring SCONA's newsletters, a job I loved dearly. I graduated a semester early with a 4.0 GPA and the Summa Cum Laude distinction to prove it.
I have been a signed model since December 2021. I have walked for showcases such as Wella Hair and DIFFA in Dallas. I have modeled for Anne Fontaine on Madison Ave, Austin Fashion Week, and was cast for NYFW in 2022.
