With my first summer in NYC coming to a close, I have to stop and embrace the fact that The New York Post found me and labeled me as one of "the cool girls of NYC".
When I first began utilizing a hand fan on my morning commutes, I had zero idea it would be picked up by The Post...like...zero. All I knew is that the subway system was not conceived with the necessary air conditioning/ventilation systems necessary to shuttle thousands of us a day underground. I was on the verge of losing the volume in my hair and the perfectly lined lip I worked oh-so-hard on in my apartment, so I bought some wooden hand fans. It has been 3 months of fanning myself in the subway and I must say, what a stylish game-changer.
